This post is so ridiculous
If “gossipers and guys” are really all girls worry about, I’d be ashamed to call myself a girl. If “bitches, backstabbers, lies, boyfriends, crushes, exes, appearance” are all we have to deal with, than ladies, y’all have it pretty easy. I know that “insecurity” and “bullying” are not easy to deal with, but this post basically just emphasized how agonizing life is as an emotional rollercoaster where best friends are actually bitches and everybody just hates me and people don’t understand me nobody likes me or thinks im pretty wooaahh. I want to tell whoever wrote this post to keep in mind that these “issues” addressed in this post barely even scratch the surface of the issues that women go through daily.
This post that claims to explain that girls are “more than just whiny bitches” just makes us seem exactly that: whiny bitches. Oh, and did I say, whiny bitches?
Forget “checking your profile,” girls have to check to see if they’re carrying pepper spray so that in case they get abducted and raped they’ll have more of a chance to escape.
Forget being “nice towards haters”; we have to put up a front of cool disposition whenever a guy drives past and shouts something obscene and sexually harassing.
Forget worrying that “they’ll call us ugly”; many teenage moms work so hard trying to keep the house together and the kids fed and going to school, appearances are the least of their concern.
Forget “crying because bitches wanna hate and boyfriends wanna bitch”; a) not too many of us give that much of a fuck when others talk shit and b)we cry when something happens to family, when we have a miscarriage, when our family is evicted from home. For some girls, they cry when everyone around them has been jailed or too many of their friends have been shot. We cry when we see injustice happen. We cry when we see how fucked up the world can be. But NO backstabbing and period jokes and breakups and being “forced” to act fake are not the main thing girls lament about. There are far worse things in the world that women have to face than the grievances listed above.
